Bridge, Train, and Palm Tree

Pastel, 12"x16"

There was something about this bridge that made me want to stop and capture it. At first I thought it was the warm hazy afternoon glow, but after painting I realized I was subconsciously attracted to the element of line-the angle of the bridge, the overlapping train tracks, the silhouette of the single palm tree, and the subtle hint of the horizon peeking through.

Comic-con people watching

Comic-con means waiting in line! These people were waiting in line to participate in the free Assasin's Creed experience outside of convention center.

San Diego Convention Center

Have fun for everyone going to comic-con this year.
Here is a sketch of the only view I could get of the convention center today.
(Decided to opt out of the train track at the bottom)

Blue Horizon

Trying to capture the beautiful overcast sunset from memory.
Ended up with two versions, with the top one being closer to reality.
